Resource Guide 2020

In 2016, I posted my first research guide for linguists. Based on comments from reviewers, I decided to produce a second substantially revised research guide. Over a period of about three years regular updates were posted on my website to report progress on the revision of the 2016 guide. In December of 2019, I decided to organize the second revision into eighteen different papers. I then decided that this organizational structure was unsatisfactory. I now present a single monograph, The Prehistory of Language from the Perspective of the Y-Chromosome. Two additional documents have also been prepared, one that contains supplementary figures, and one that contains supplementary tables. Links to the 2020 research guide and supplementary materials are provided below.

The 2020 research guide is certainly not the end of the line, but rather serves as a preview of the final product that I would like to release in 2022, a peer-reviewed open access book of approximately 90 thousand words.
